Cimarron imported Uberti made 2nd Model Dragoon black powder percussion revolver. The famous 1st, 2nd and 3rd Model Dragoons were produced from 1848 to 1863 as evolutions of the 1847 Walker Dragoon. Shorter than their predecessor (barrel, cylinder and frame were reduced in length), these Dragoons were reliable and particuarly efficient weapons against their single shot opponents of the day. Only the arrival of the .44 caliber 1860 Colt Army, a still lighter and more manageable arm, rendered the Dragoon obsolete in the early ’60s. It comes with an authentic finish that cannot be distinguished from the 150 year old originals without close examination.
