40-70 Sharps Straight Reformed Brass Cases* for Shiloh Sharps .068″ Thick Rims

40-70 Sharps Straight cases .068″ thick rims for Shiloh Sharps and other rifles with this headspacing. This brass uses a RCBS #7 or a RCBS #24 shell holder. Item number RCB9207 or RCB9224.

We are currently making these from 303 British brass, the best option until the 30-40 Krag cases are available again. These have .527″ diameter rims which is undersized. We have tried these in a Remington Hepburn, an antique Sharps rifle and an antique Whitney split breech rolling block and all extracted despite the smaller diameter rim. We can not gaurantee that it will extract in your rifle so we suggest you purchase a couple of casings to try first before purchasing a larger amount.
