Description

Currently manufactered obsolete black powder ammo for the 40-85 Ballard AKA 40-90 Ballard. This ammunition is loaded using Swiss black powder and a .408″ 370 grain lead bullet.

First introduced about 1878 and is a very powerfull hunting cartridge similar to the 40-90 Sharps Strait but not interchangable. This is same load that I used to shoot my 2018 whitetale buck from my original Pacific No. 5.
