Hornady has done it again with another outstanding product. Their Dangerous Game Series ammunition is designed specifically for dangerous game and safari hunting. These 470 Nitro Express cartridges are tipped with Hornady’s new flagship DGX (Dangerous Game eXpanding) bullets. They are made of a very hard lead/antimony alloy surrounded by a copper clad steel jacket which resists deformation at all velocities to penetrate deeply through hide, muscle and bone-expanding 1.25 times their original diameter. They feature a flat meplat for straighter penetration and create more energy transfer than a simple round profile bullet.
