Description
A lot of guys across the land have a Mosin-Nagant or know someone who does. The old Mosins are everywhere. And of course they are chambered in 7.62x54R. But most of the 7.62 x 54R ammo available for them is in old brass casings or cheap steel casings. Much of the Mil Surp ammo uses Berdan primers which can be a hassle if you want to reload. For those who like using their Mosin-Nagant for hunting or for those who have a Dragunov marksman rifle and want to maximize its accuracy, you now have another option, from Peterson Cartridge. Petersons goal when creating this brass was to produce a top-quality, match-grade 7.62x54R casing. As with all Peterson cases, the heads are harder than most which allows for more reloads of each case and prevent premature loosening of the primer pockets.
