The nose of the Sierra BlitzKing projectile is made of an acetyl resin compound, and the sharp tip improves ballistic coefficient over small hollow point projectiles. The 55gr variant used in this cartridge features a boat tail to further increase the ballistic coefficient compared to flat-base design bullets of the same weight.
