The AirForce Texan is one of the most capable big-bore air rifles built in the United States, and we’re proud to stock it. Available in five calibers — .257, .308, .357, .457, and .510 — it delivers serious downrange energy for hunters pursuing medium to large game with an airgun.
This is a purpose-built hunting platform, not a range toy. AirForce recommends lead projectiles only, and the updated Weaver/Picatinny optics rail (on rifles produced from December 2025 onward) makes scope mounting straightforward with modern rings.
- Five caliber options: .257 at 960 fps, .308 at 1270 fps, .357 at 1100 fps, .457 at 1040 fps, and .510 at 710 fps.
- American-made big bore: Designed and built by AirForce Airguns in Fort Worth, Texas.
- Updated optics rail: Current production rifles ship with a Weaver/Picatinny rail — check your rings accordingly if upgrading from an older Texan.
