The books are two volumes, sold only as a set and boxed. Vol. 1-244 pages, Vol. 2-280 pages. Long awaited and years in the making. Covers the Hartford period only. Stevens Pope and Jersey Pope will be covered in future books. The books include a biography of Pope through 1901 when he went to work for the Stevens Arms and Tool Company. A large number of rifles are shown as well as comments on reported examples. Also show is a large section on Pope accessories such as powder measurers, machine rests, bullet molds etc.
