Kirst Cartridge Konverter with loading gate to convert the .44 caliber steel framed Uberti .44 caliber 1858 Remington to shoot 45 ACP. Drops in and converts your cap and ball into a cartridge revolver. Some minor fitting may be required, no F.F.L. required, S.A.S.S. Legal and lifetime manufacturer warranty. Owner has the option of cutting the loading port in the frame (template supplied) and convert your Remington to be loaded using a loading gate. All Kirst Cartridge Konverters are precision CNC machined in the USA from 4140 steel and heat-treated. The cylinders are rated “For Black Powder or equivalent loads only'” which includes the current Cowboy Loads on the market. .45 caliber cylinders must NEVER be installed in brass framed revolvers. Not recommended for original antique Remington revolvers.
