Description
Savage Arms have teamed up with the barrel experts at PROOF Research to craft a purpose driven rifle that weighs in at right around 6 pounds. The search for the ultimate lightweight rifle is now over with the release of the Savage 110 Ultralite. This gun sports a factory blueprinted action along with an exclusive PROOF Research carbon fiber wrapped stainless steel barrel that reduces much of the weight that comes with a bolt action hunting rifle. Each barrel features cut rifling and a threaded muzzle that allows for the optional addition of a muzzle brake or suppressor. The action and barrel are set into a Savage AccuFit stock which includes adjustable comb height and length of pull, as well as overmolded rubber grip surfaces for a secure grip on the rifle even during inclement weather. Complete with a user adjustable AccuTrigger and detachable box magazine, the Savage 110 Ultralite is a lightweight bolt action rifle that is perfectly suited for those long treks in the field.
